Using this unique approach, Dr. Bortz is able to help his patients accelerate and/or maintain their journey to good health.
Dr. Bortz received his chiropractic doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the leading institution where Chiropractic Medicine had its origins over 100 years ago. In addition, Dr. Bortz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and is a member of both the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) and Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS).
A Florida resident since 2006, Dr. Bortz was raised in Madison, Wisconsin where he spent 12 years in the Wisconsin Air National Guard before leaving the military to begin his career in healthcare. Away from the practice, Dr. Bortz’s interests include hunting, traveling to his home state of Wisconsin, and as a former high school quarterback, keeping up with football. Dr. Bortz resides in Viera and spends most of his personal time with his wife Angie, and two children, Alexis and Evan.
'Spinal Decompression can be literally life changing for many, especially since most of my patients have been told surgery was their only option. I hope to help as many people as I can with this non-surgical solution to many spinal conditions.' -Dr. Tim Bortz
Dr. Bortz's clinical proficiency and caring touch are just a part of why he is so valued at D.I.S.C.
